I am patient, encouraging and enjoy catering my teaching methods to suit my student. Unfortunately, a girl I'm currently tutoring has a neurological disorder that has limited her working memory and fluid intelligence. To adapt to these circumstances, I have improved her knowledge base and encourage her to use external memory sources to solve problems.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The purpose of a tutor is to provide a one-on-one learning experience; thus, a tutor should be able to adapt to their student's specific needs. A tutor needs to identify weak areas and improve them but also foster confidence in students strong areas. Obviously, a tutor should be well versed in the content that they're teaching. Please note, I would be willing to teach higher levels of math; however, I did the old maths course, so I'd like to look at the new course before I tutor.Subjects Tutored 🎓
