I enjoy helping students grow by sharing my learnings with them. The students that I have informally tutored in economics for university have all achieved high distinction grades despite them not believing in their own capabilities to begin with. The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is adapt to suit their needs. Whilst many tutors can simply pass on content, a strong tutor is capable of teaching content in a way that suits the learning needs of a student. This may include using different communication methods, teaching at different paces and understanding the students motivation and goals.
