What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy working with students and helping them come to understand the subjects they may dislike or struggle with. Motivating students to realise their own potential and helping them reach their goals is also rewarding as a teacher.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths as a tutor are genuinely connecting with students and making them feel engaged and comfortable with the work they are learning about. I seek to personalise my teaching so that it suits the child's needs and abilities. I am also highly organised and structured in my routine.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to really understand who they are, including their abilities, weaknesses and strengths. From this knowledge, the teacher can provide them with the right scaffolding to help support the child and their learning needs. The tutor must be able to relate to the student so they may be able to create activities which engage and motivate the student to complete the work. Tutors should also give the child a good balance of encouragement and independent learning to support the student's self-efficacy and self-sufficiency.
