What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy helping people and solving problems. It brings me great joy to see a student develop and I see their accomplishments as my own accomplishments. Tutoring is very complex as every student learns differently and understands things differently. It feels so good when you both find that eureka moment. The thing I enjoy the least about tutoring is the end of the journey. You build a team with your students and the purpose of tuition is that it is temporary. They may become an independent learner or finish their studies and its all over only to start again.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I was a hopeless student at one point and I believe my comeback from one is my greatest strength. I understand who feel hopeless and know it is possible to help any student regardless of their ability. I feel any student is capable and so I am willing to be patient with them which is another strength as tutoring requires great patience. My passion for problem solving has helped my students. Every students learning is a unique problem to solve. I can think of many different ways to explain one topic to them until they get it.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Be patient with them. Prepare, no matter how good you are at a topic you must always prepare for your lessons. Understand the topic you are teaching. If you can't answer a student's question, they will lose faith in your ability. Believe in your students!
