What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Being a former high school student, I understand the difficulties and struggles students have to go through in some subject areas and I understand that it can be intimidating or uncomfortable to ask school teachers for clarification. Therefore, as a tutor, I can help students overcome these difficulties without the awkwardness and I find this achievement very rewarding.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths as a tutor have to be experience and patience. As stated earlier, I have undergone the same events as most high school students when it comes to not understanding something and I believe this gives me empathy to deal with them and help them improve. In addition to this, I am a very patient individual when it comes to teaching. I always believe that a student should gain something after a lesson with me even if it means that I have to explain numerous times.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe that the most important thing that a tutor can do for a student is to be patient and empathetic. With these two qualities, a tutor can gain the trust and confidence of the student and once the student has placed their confidence in the tutor, they are more likely to listen, share their struggles and therefore lead the way for improvement.
