What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy seeing the people I tutor grow. It is rewarding when after lots of effort and time they finally achieve what they want. The indescribable fulfilment they feel when they finally understand something or receive a good grade is desirable.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am a patient person. I have grown up in a family of seven and I believe patience is one of my strengths. I have time and do not expect the child to understand immediately as well as get it takes time.
I am caring and kind and never make a child feel inadequate when they do not understand a concept.
I genuinely care about the people I help and want to see them reach their full potential and I will go above and beyond to help them.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
A vital aspect of tutoring is being non-judgemental. it is important for a tutor to make the student feel comfortable to share if they do not understand something or are struggling. If a student feels as if they will be judged or considered inadequate they are less likely to come to tutor’s for help. Building a strong relationship is extremely important and helps both the student and tutor feel more at ease.
I believe a tutor can make the student feel as if they can achieve anything.

Equivalent fractions were understood quite quickly. After a bit of explaining could easily grasp the concept of applying the same rule (x2 etc.) to both the denominator and the numerator.
Struggles to get her times tables. Does not understand the concept of them nor her basic time tables from 2s upwards. Drew a sheet out of all the time tables as well as drawings to help.
