What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

In tutoring, I mostly enjoy being able to make a huge difference and improvement in students' lives and academics. There are students whose mental health and physical wellbeing are dependent on how they are doing academically. It also impacts their confidence. So, I believe the most enjoyable thing about tutoring is being able to teach students concepts and ensuring they understand everything, help them realise their full potential and be motivating and encouraging enough to help them achieve it. In doing so, a huge difference is made in the students' confidence, life and mental health.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

As a tutor, my strengths include punctuality, openness to students' preferred style of teaching, ability to moderate my teaching styles according to students learning capabilities, excellent listening, writing and communication skills, well-prepared before lessons, provide a mentally enriching and engaging lesson for students, ensuring along every step of the way that students understand everything, and if not I go back over it a lot slower and provide more examples, being understanding to all circumstances student is exposed to, and overall being able to build personal relationships with kids

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is provide them with a mentally safe and open environment, in which they feel no question or form of validation is undeserving. Students are generally quick learners and tutors must consider this and always teach the correct thing and refrain from making silly mistakes as it may get stuck into students' heads and they end up learning the wrong concept. Also, tutors should always be ensuring the student understands everything as some shy students may not feel fully comfortable voicing their doubts.
