What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I love to see others excel. Young people are the future leaders of tomorrow, and investing in them, appropriately, is the least we can do. Being an individual who grew up in a refugee camp, I value education and believe that if you can, be apart of it because it can change the course of your life.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor, my goals are to help improve study skills for students. Some strengths I have a tutor include, building student's confidence, work closely with the student and building a strong, personal relationship; encouraging progress; communicate with parents and students with diverse backgrounds, provide students with the opportunity to ask questions and provide exam tips where necessary. The ability to make students visualise, through the use of good communication skills.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important things I can do for a student, is to put myself in their shoes when teaching. Often some students take longer to understand, comprehend or apply the knowledge taught. It' so important to go at their pace, whilst challenging them as well, because there's nothing we can't achieve if we set our minds to it. It' important to simply value humanity when educating young people. Being a psychology student, I understand how it all starts with the mind and how once we make up in our minds, that we cant do something, we're most likely unable to do it.
