My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My main strengths as a tutor are communication, organisation and expertise in the subject area. Over the years I have developed great communication skills in explaining difficult math concepts and I can relate well to the struggle of students. My methods of teaching put the understanding of students first. I am very organised when I tutor with a clear plan of action for what we are going to cover in the daily class, for the week and long term. Something I would like to improve upon is time management. On occasions I can spend too long on a particular topic at the expense of others.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important things a tutor can do for a student is to help them become more independent and confident with the subject material. If a tutor can encourage students when they are finding the problems difficult and explain the material to them so they can consolidate and establish the skills so they could teach it to others, then I think the tutor has done a great job.
