The best part about tutoring is the ability to help students in their journey toward finding the right career for them. Looking back on my own high school days, having to make a decision about what career path you should take at the age of 17 or 18 is a daunting task. As a qualified actuary, explaining complex mathematical and insurance concepts to non-technical business personnel is something I do on a regular basis. I believe that I can bring that experience into a classroom to benefit my students. Furthermore, I'm a strong believer in the idea that if you can not articulate concepts clearly then you do not understand it. This is a concept that I will be taking into the classroom and working toward getting my students to a level at which they are then able to explain concepts clearly to their peers.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
