What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love being able to pass on knowledge to young people. I think young people are the future of our world and with the right education and right support they are able to achieve more than they can imagine. I also believe tutoring also provides a sense of confidence in young people and assurance that they have all the qualities to succeed in a particular subject or achieve a particular goal in life. So seeing young people succeed in life and not give up brings me great joy.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

As someone who has been pretty much studying all her life and is currently doing postgraduate research, i think I've spent enough time as a student to understand how they learn best and how unique and different each one of us are. I also believe my pathway in psychology has taught me discipline and and empathy and really built my interpersonal skills.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to build rapport, that way there is respect and trust but most importantly, the tutor can personalize the learning according to how the student learns best. I believe that is what makes the system we have established in schools so different to one on one tutoring because, students do not get conformed learn a subject in one particular way. Another important thing a tutor can do for a student is to build confidence, i think confidence plays a huge role in eliminating fear which most students have when their learning new material.
