What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Being able to teach students and improve their skills/knowledge whilst building a friendly relationship with them. It is very rewarding when they are able to do better academically, or just watching them gain and demonstrate better understanding of certain concepts they were struggling with initially is also very satisfying.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am generally a very friendly person that can build good relationships with younger children and teenagers. I have also built a lot of patience from working as a shift supervisor at Oporto. From here, I have gained a lot of experience working with teenagers within a team as well as customers. As well as friendliness, I think patience is also a key quality to have a tutor. Its important to know that not all students will always understand things quickly, and that it is my job as a tutor to support their understanding by taking small progressive steps through a variety of different ways.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
- Being able to provide the extra support students need to build their skills and understanding, so that they are able to thrive academically (especially for those students who are struggling to keep up at school).
