What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy the ability to pass on knowledge and help students better understand content. I am very passionate about engaging with and getting to better know students and guide them through the learning process.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe that as a person I am approachable and I believe that this is characteristic is important to have as a tutor, as students can easily approach me in order to clarify any doubts they might have.
I am also a current student at university, therefore I believe that I can relate with the students during certain times, such as when a deadline at school is approaching. I believe that this a strength because it may help build rapport between myself and the student(s), which will further their learning process.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Understand that every student is different and works at different paces, therefore I believe that it is very important to be patient and considerate.
Answer any questions or doubts the student might have prior to ending a session thus ensuring that the student does not have any confusion when he/she goes back to school.
Work at a pace that the student is comfortable with and ensure that they are an active participant in this process. (Example: At the end of the session, if I realize that a student is not working as fast as another student, consider conduction one on one classes with them).
