What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I have a genuine passion for math. The subject speaks to me. I have recently realised that a lot of students find the subject hard because they have a hard time appreciating the importance of math. I find great solace in helping students not just score good grades, but also showing them the true beauty of mathematics.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My greatest strength as a tutor would be adaptability and flexibility. I realise that not every student is the same and each student has his/her own speed to understand concepts. As a tutor it is our duty to adapt to their needs and not expect all students to learn concepts with the same speed or level of understanding.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Most important thing would be empathy. A tutor has to put himself/herself in the shoes of the student. Knowing the material in great detail is half the battle won. You also need to have patience and cannot expect all students to have the same speed in learning things. It takes time to build concepts. Brick by brick.
