My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths would be my existing knowledge of the current grade 3-12 mathematics content, and my enthusiasm to revise material from the students course load to make sure I can give all I can. I am also very approachable and understand that judgement has no place around learning. The fact that I have had very limited academic contact with teenagers will mean that I have to very quickly learn how to best approach students, which means I may not be able to build a rapport with them as quickly as we would like. However, I believe my retail employment which required me to work with teenagers will

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe persistence is key when learning mathematics. I have found that even if a mathematical concept is completely alien to me, as long as I kept reading and kept trying, I would always find I understood it. To show patience and know students do have the ability to understand concepts, would mean a great deal to their progress.
