What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy being able to shine a light on new perspectives and approaches which the students may not have thought about before when solving and dealing with problems. Being able to witness that sense of realization on their face after they understand is rewarding.
However, it is not only being able to teach students new ways of thinking and solving problems that are enjoyable but learning new things from the students themselves and being able to use that information to help another individual with similar educational problems. It is enjoyable to witness both the student and teacher grow.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths are definitely being able to convey information succinctly, ensuring that I am able to provide as much information as possible in the given time, whilst ensuring that my students understand what is being taught.
In addition, I am also a caring and understanding individual, who is aware that every student learns differently and has different problems in their academic life. Hence, I will be sure to get to know the student's academic struggles individually in order to personalize my teaching methods and ensure they get the best results.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do for their student is to listen to and understand their student's problems and personalize their teaching. A tutor must illuminate new perspectives to satisfy different ways of learning and different academic problems, thus they must listen to each individual in order to tackle the issues they face in their learning, no matter how long it takes. In doing so, the tutor must provide useful information that the student can easily apply in the classroom by themselves to warrant that the student does not rely on the tutor but their newfound knowledge.
