What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy being able to teach people different ways of approaching problems, and being able to see when they truly understand a concept and are able to appreciate it better. I find great pleasure in being able to help people solve problems they feel are unsolvable, or beyond their scope, and show them that they can, in fact, find a way to tackle even the most challenging of situations.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Having struggled with early high school learning myself, I know exactly what kinds of pitfalls students fall into, and how to approach these situations. I also believe that I can provide my students with a more appreciative approach to subjects like mathematics and science, as even in the highly competitive environment of VCE I was able to find an appreciation for the logic and the methods behind what was being taught.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do for their student is help them find ways to learn most effectively and reach their full potential. Simply providing a student with notes and memorisation tricks will not work for long, whereas teaching a student how to approach the various challenges a subject presents will provide them with valuable judgement skills that will carry over to most parts of their lives.
