What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I enjoy most about tutoring is being able to share my knowledge, as well as the tips and tricks I have learnt over the past few years, with my students. Having undergone the stress of year 12, I understand how important it is to have guidance on the correct learning styles rather than rote learning or cramming the night before a test or exam. I have a passion for teaching and enjoy seeing the growth in confidence of students, once they have grasped a concept I have taught them.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think my biggest strength as a tutor is that I have the patience required to explain a new challenging concept several times in slightly different ways until the student is able to get a full grasp on it. I also think that I am able to create an environment where the student feels accepted, is comfortable asking questions and not judged when making a mistake.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think that the most important thing a tutor can do is build the student's confidence in themselves and their own abilities so that the student is able to realise that with a little guidance and support they can achieve anything they want.
