The most important thing would be to keep the student engaged - the mere delivery of information means nothing if the student is not interested, or given a chance to apply it. Providing activities is paramount in this case, as it allows students to apply concepts at a pace they are comfortable with and become familiar with them through 'learning by doing'. Ideally, these activities should also foster interest in a subject, potentially tailored to the student specifically. It - alongside proactivity in asking questions - will have the additional benefit of identifying areas of improvement.Tutoring students in 👦 👧
