What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy sharing my love of learning with others and watching their confidence grow as they come to understand concepts over time. There is nothing more rewarding then working with a student for years and seeing them develop not just academically but see them becoming their own person and really settling into who they want to be.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe my strengths as a tutor are my patience and understanding when students take a while to pick up a concept. I have worked with many students who have learning disabilities so I have become quite good at working through the barriers this can put on the learning of these particular students and helping them develop the skills to succeed on their own when I'm not there to help them.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important things a tutor can do for their students is make themselves available to them when they are needed and to make them feel supported. Showing patience with them and confidence in them gives them an added boost to their own confidence knowing that someone believes in them.

Testimonials 🏆

Melissa is an excellent tutor who has already created a great rapporr with Poppy. She explains concepts clearly and relates them to real life experiences which provide a greater depth of understanding. We highly recommend Melissa as a tutor.
