What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The aspect of tutoring that I enjoy the most is the opportunity to help students easily understand a seemingly complicated topic. Having now completed a Master's degree in engineering, I have had significant exposure to formal education. Right throughout my journey, I have had teachers who I have looked up to and have had a massive influence in shaping my career choices. I feel tutoring allows me the opportunity to return the favor to the society and try and have a positive impact on curious young minds.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

1. Empathy: I have very recently completed my formal education journey. Having been on the other side of the table for a sustained duration of time, I feel I can relate to the problems students might be having with understanding educational material, especially when it relates to physics and math. 2.Hands-on approach: Having had some formal and informal teaching experience at university and in casual roles, I feel hands-on learning is the best way to go when it comes to learning math. I feel the processes are far more important than results when it comes to learning math.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The primary role, I believe, for a teacher is to guide students to the right direction. With all the progress in information technology, educational content is readily available for literally anyone willing to learn something. The key role, for a modern-day teacher, I feel is to help students understand what they might be looking for and how they can go about it. Which is why, when it comes to teaching math, I feel the most important thing a teacher can do is to help them understand the processes involved in problem solving, instead of just being able to solve a particular problem.
