What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Being able to enhance and clarify concepts to allow students to gain a full and in depth understanding of various topics. Many students enjoy the subject but do not possess all the skills to be able to excel. It is extremely rewarding when students finally gain these skills and are able to achieve the grades they aspire to.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
To be able to give students the skills to come to their own conclusions and ideas rather than force my own onto them. I also think I am able to simplify convoluted concepts in a way that allows students to able to fully comprehend and thus answer questions to the best of their extent.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important aspect of being a tutor is to assist students in coming up with their own interpretations, especially in english, by expanding their skill set. By giving students the tools to succeed but letting them work through the problems first, it allows them to put forward any errors or miscommunications, which can then be clarified by the tutor later on. This sets up students to succeed later on such as in exam situations, where they cannot receive help, but have the required skills and thought processes to produce a high quality answer.
