What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I feel that the best part of tutoring is being able to play a crucial role as a guide and a facilitator in the learning development of my students. It is even more so rewarding being able to experience all the 'aha!' moments as my students begin to grasp new concepts/ strategies, or understand and make connections with the old.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

As I was also tutored in the past (when I was in school), I recognise and understand the importance of finding out what a student thinks/ feels and to get them to have the confidence to tell me what he/ she doesn't understand. I am also patient, and I recognise that every student is different, having different learning needs and pace due to which I strive to tailor my lessons to accommodate to their learning needs and style.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Tutors are in a position not only to impart knowledge, but most importantly, to model curiousity to learn and showing his/ her students what it looks like to be passionate about a subject, discipline, or anything! By doing so, tutors are also able to actively show, and amplify, their students ability and confidence to improve and excel in whatever it is they pursue.
