What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy being able to work with a range of people across different skill levels, knowing the work I do with them will impact them positively. The most reward moments of my tutoring career have been when a student grasps a concept that they have been struggling with and getting to see their confidence grow as they gain more understanding over the subject.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe my strengths lie in being able to adapt my teaching methods to the individual needs of the student and ensuring they are understanding what they are learning, rather than just going through all the material or concepts without fully engaging the student. This creates a welcoming and supportive learning environment. I am patient and am able to explain complex ideas in a clear manner and will do so as many times as necessary for a student to understand concepts.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important things a tutor can do for a student is assessing their strengths and weaknesses before delving into topics, ensuring they are able to provide help where they need it. It is also important for tutors to be able to instill confidence in a student and help them develop effective study habits that they can use beyond the subject they are being taught.
