My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I connect very quickly with people of any background, culture or agegroup. I am able to adapt my methods of instruction to match the mindset and thought processes of whomever I am helping with minimal assessment and evaluation time. I am a good listener and can relate well with students who are either reluctant to or are unable to properly communicate their difficulties. As a weakness I think sometimes I spend too much time explaining a single topic since I feel its important for a student to fully understand something before moving on.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the most important things a tutor can do for a student is being able to enable the student to feel confident about his or her own abilities and to be able to teach them the most efficient and time saving techniques to achieve their tasks and goals. As a math tutor in particular I firmly believe it is important for a student to see mathematics as an elegant and valuable tool rather than just a plethora of rules and numbers and boredom. It is very important in my opinion that students see a reason for learning Math.
