What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Being able to be apart of the development of my students, not only academically, but as people, is something I'm extremely grateful for. I have been lucky enough to attract extremely loyal parents/students whereby I have been apart of some students academic lives from a very young age. Further, considering the fact that I'm also a student, the hours and flexibility of work are considerably helpful for my studies.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

- I have been able to build strong relationships with all the families I've dealt with in my three years or so of tutoring which has allowed me to retain the students I've had for years. Through this, I have been able to develop a wide network of contacts within the local region. - I am extremely flexible and almost always able to reschedule a session when the student isn't available for the assigned one. - I have tutored a wide range of students, including individuals with learning difficulties, which has substantially improved my ability to adapt my teaching skills to each unique student.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Given my personal experience as a tutor, I believe the most important thing I can do for my student is to build and sustain a strong rapport with not only them but their parents as well. I find this helps to facilitate an environment that encourages queries, comments and concerns without fear of judgement, which I have found to be the key factor holding most students back in my first few sessions with them. Verbally reassuring students at every step along the way is imperative to foster a safe space for them to develop as students.
