What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Tutoring is a highly rewarding occupation. Surely, it comes with a lot of challenges and commitment. However in the end, what matters is the student's achievements, high performance, and learning success. I enjoy having a dialogue with the younger generation, to get ideas of who is the student as a person. By knowing the students well, I will be able to cater to the learning process for specific individuals to enhance their performance. This experience cannot be easily adapted to the classroom in a school setting, where we have at least 10 kids in one class and time constraints.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths include having good-natured, friendly, punctual, and warm personality. My education philosophy is student-oriented imbued with value education; I want my students not only to be excellent academically but growing and having positive values as human beings. Moreover, I am a person who always actively listening, which is an advantage to create a positive and respectful learning environment inside and outside of the classroom. I paid high attention to detail as well. I am keen to always learn something new and a fast-learner, which needed to improve my professional practice.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Being a tutor is more than assisting students' academic performance. Since tutoring is more personalized, the student-teacher bond can be more focused on. Behavioural issues can be minimized as well since the students received all the required attention in each session. It can also promote a sense of belonging for the students since the attention of the teacher is not divided into too many students. Since the learning content will be tailored to match every individual, tutoring can promote equal learning opportunities to students with varied abilities.
