What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I thoroughly enjoy helping students become confident about their education, which I view as a very important tool in one's life. I am fulfilled by supporting students through increasing their interest in topics, filling knowledge and understanding gaps and teaching subject-specific content. Principally, I enjoy providing students with the individualised support that they often do not receive from typical school environments.

As a good listener, I pick up on and understand the roots of students' mistakes and misconceptions, enabling me to address these problems effectively. Understanding where students are coming from, I am sensitive but also remain honest to best improve their learning. Another key strength is my flexibility, as I understand the needs and tendencies of students to employ tailored teaching strategies that will most efficiently assist the student. My adaptability ensures that students receive the support they require.

While teachers at students' schools often may not be able to allocate time to understanding individual students' needs, tutors can offer personalised support tailored to the knowledge and skills gaps and learning styles of students.
