What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐
My favourite part about tutoring is the process of breaking down information the student is receiving from school and reshaping it into something more digestible. The end result of a student showing improvement through academic performance or reaching that "Eureka" moment during a session are also aspects of tutoring I enjoy.
My Strengths as Tutor ๐ช
I believe my greatest strength as a tutor is my patience and adaptive skills. Every student moves at a different pace and requires different ways of teaching the same topic. I think my composure and willingness to move at whatever pace is necessary and teach in whatever way is most compatible helps the student feel less pressured and process the information with a more comfortable mindset.
Most important things I can do for a student ๐
I think the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to make them feel comfortable learning the material the school gives them and to develop good study skills. Students have different learning styles and process information at different paces. A school can't accomodate all the individual learning styles of their students, but tutoring provides that opportunity for those students.
