What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Being able to see the educational growth of the student and knowing that they are capable and confident in their studies. Finding new ways to teach each individual student as they all have unique learning styles. When you find the right technique the teacher and student are working in on the same wavelength. This allows for more effective teaching and it is wonderful to see this connection being made.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am always prepared. It is important to not only answer questions posed by students but to also keep the students working pro-actively in their studies. I bring in extra resources so that they are not only utilising my time and teaching but to be able to reinforce the taught concepts outside the classroom. This is also done by following their school curriculum and going beyond it when necessary. I take the time to understand how the student learns their content, what works for them and what is the most effective teaching method. When this is found, i can help the student effectively.

To answer any queries first - then go ahead with the class concepts. It is so important that the student learns the foundations of their chosen subject and that these foundation principles are practiced and solid. Without these foundation, students will struggle to understand further and more complex problems, so it's up to the tutor to make sure that they first complete the necessary steps b Being consistent in tutoring habits and sessions.
