What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The things I enjoy most about tutoring is seeing my students improve and are engage to learn by asking questions on a weekly basis and clarifying what they have learnt the previous week. Their progress and dedication to learn should be show all the time regardless of what results they achieve. I think their progress can be seen through weekly quizzes and revision questions before the start of class to reinforce what they learnt last week.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am very patient and am willing to help students in my spare time. This can involve tutoring them before and after class if they need any extra help for school homework or so. I always like to do a quick revision before I start the lesson. This would involve me writing a variety of questions on the board and ask students to solve them with me. This has always been effective for my past students as they can clarify what they don't know and ask further questions.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important things a tutor can do is to provide resources and help your students anytime. If the student is a bit advance for the class, extra resources should be provided so they can further learn and advance their learning. For a slow student, resources of a lower level should be provided to consolidate their basics before they can move on to do harder topics. I have found this very effective as students can learn comfortably and efficiently at their own pace. It is important that the student's level and competency should be met accurately in order for them to learn well.
