What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy making a connection with the student and watching them slowly improve in their studies. I also like helping improve a students studying habits and organizational skills. I think that besides improving a students grades it is also important to improve their study habits as well.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am a very organized and strict tutor however I have worked with students that have learning disabilities so I know how to mend to certain types of students. I think that my organization uses spills over into how I teach students studying skills. I am also very detailed-oriented. I always look at creating lesson plans on top of homework and marking down what the students struggles with.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing that I tutor can do for a student is be understanding. Some times it may be hard for a student and they may think that because they are not the best then they are not good enough. It is the tutor job not only to help the student academically but also mentally. There are many social pressures within a students school life that can affect a student academics. When a student is struggling it is important for a tutor to not get mad, not doubt the students ability, and not give up on the student. It is the tutors job to encourage and reevaluate a targeted lesson plan.

Ash is very smart and has been taking 3 hours of math courses every week which shows in his improvement. He does understand what a noun is and how to identify them.
He understands what a verb and adjective is but he is not able to identify them when they are individually placed. He does need to learn how to focus which may be due to his environment or his disorder. He also needs to work on recognizing the difference between a plus and a minus and when there are changes in different equations.
