I really like the pleasure of one understanding the concepts, they themselves being satisfied from their learning and henceforth able to perform very well during class or exam. Math as a subject is very interesting and if taught in a manner where students can visualize concepts, that's the key.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think, as a tutor a thing a do oftentimes is let the student go through the problems themselves first instead of me getting in at the start which helps in developing their minds, and also boosts their confidence to start a new problem, not to mention the satisfaction they get after successfully solving a problem is key, that is the real confidence builder.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
A tutor needs to be reminded that it's their student they have to make better, not themselves, hence most of the time we should end up giving tasks to students and let them solve them themselves. Only to interrupt them when they are stuck or can't get over a problem, we should remember that we are more of assistants rather than problem solvers ourselves. Often times it can be exciting, time-taking, and even frustrating when a student can't solve a simple problem, but as tutors, we need to understand that for a student it is their first time encountering it and we should give them their time.Tutoring students in 👦 👧
