What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The ability to share my knowledge and lend a helping hand to other people and the fact that a certain bond and relationship can be formed gives me great joy. Students love fun learning with one to one interaction with their tutor and the end result on their faces is more worth than anything. I love kids and me being an only child always longed for a sibling. I love to teach my younger cousins and the memories we can created while learning is something I will look back upon everyday.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am very adaptable- With individual tutoring, you must adapt yourself to every case. Since there is no pre-determined formula, the tutor’s approach must depend on the student’s need and the particular difficulties he or she experiences. I have a lot of energy and patience- in order to establish a good relationship, the tutor must be an energetic person, someone with a lot of enthusiasm with respect to human interactions. I am extremely open- The tutor’s involvement and presence offers support for a student in trouble and will make the student feel valued.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Being honest and establish rapport and trust, the two most critical elements to a successful tutoring relationship. Being flexible and willing to adjust techniques and approaches to meet the learning styles of the student. Being patient and a good listener by learning to pick up clues in your student. Be willing to share my own experiences. By sharing information about what you have encountered, the student may feel relieved that he/she is not alone and it also helps the student build self-confidence. The most important aspect would be to have confidence with a smile.
