What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
While I enjoy fulfilling a student's needs, especially their learning difficulties and their goals, I enjoy to promote curiosity and challenge the students to keep them learning which involves with giving different programs from lecturing to encouraging them to try competitions(if they wish). I also enjoy to see them working hard as well.
As I am aware tutors are still learning, I would like to seek new skills and even learn from students like their cultures. This means tutors need to be flexible and try different problem solving skills which I have experienced when I help Deaf students.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
Responsibility which is having strong work ethics, being dedicated to teach the best of my abilities, handle new challenges and to keep updating my teaching skills and knowledge (as education is changing and students).
Adaptability which is being flexible enough to give different techniques to fulfil different students' different needs. This also involves with researching, assessing them and strong determination to create a new action plan to allow students work with their learning styles.
Soft skills and patience which can help students feel valued and supported to keep learning.
Most important things I can do for a student π
While a tutor ensures a student understands his/her lessons, the student's learning style and learning difficulties need to be considered. This involves with supporting her to the point that she can study independently and develop creative skills in learning, thinking and applying to basic everyday life activities. This also includes promoting good study skills(that include organisation and time management).
Also, the tutor needs to be patient and empathise to build confidence and create fun learning in students.
Competence and compassion are the most important things a tutor shall have
