What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The satisfaction that comes from helping someone to properly understand something is definitely the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. It's amazing to watch someone's face light up because they finally feel confident in something that they'd previously been struggling with.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am very tolerant and am happy to reiterate the same point many times in different ways to make sure that my student completely understands. I'm not condescending and don't pressure my students to move on before they're ready.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

1. Providing a figure of support - It's important that a student feels comfortable asking their tutor questions and knows that they will be taken seriously no matter how simple the question may seem. 2. Encouragement - It's easy for students to lose confidence when they can't understand something, and as a tutor it's important that you can help a student through the difficult stages by offering encouragement. 3. Treating each student as an individual - Every student is different - they will respond to different methods of learning and this should be taken into account.
