What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about teaching is the satisfaction that they have learnt something, and watching the students improve.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am quite a calm, yet enthusiastic teacher. I also am able to problem solve well and can teach this skill to others.
Another strength is that I am persistent with the student, and will not give up on them.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think that an important thing for a tutor to do is to be available, even if it be through technology or in person. As a student, I understand that sometimes it may just be a singular question that gets you down, or in other cases an entire unit. Hence, being able to support all circumstances is imperative.
Another important factor is that the tutor is able to assist all different types of persons, and then adapt their teaching style. For example, teaching a year 5 compared to a year 11 is vastly different. Understanding these differences is vital to ensure the most productive sessions.
