What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy bring able to teach a subject in a way that not only the kid understands but even starts enjoying. I used to really hate maths, but when my father started personally to tutoring me, not only did I start enjoying it but my grade jumped so high. Being able to see someone who was stuck on a sum finally get it and truly understand it is a great feeling for not only the student, but the tutor as well!
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am patient as I understand what it feels like to not understand even some of the simplest questions. I’m here to break it down for the student and go through the question as many times as they need until they think they don’t need my help anymore. I stay focused and if I feel like there is a question that is challenging me and making it hard to teach, I make sure I can do it 10 times over before making the student do it, so that no one is confused.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do is understand what is challenging the student. Sometimes we think it’s just that the topic is harder than previous ones, but it could be mental or emotional stress too. So to keep the student calm n focused and make them enjoy the subject, will automatically produce good results.
