What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy:
- developing a personal connection with the student and improving their academic performance.
- fostering a mindset of increased confidence in exams
- helping the student set out a study system to maximise their performance
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe my strengths as a tutor are as follows:
- I am able to anatomise difficult topics into several more approachable segments.
- I like to build up both a personal and professional relationship with students
- I achieved high marks in both 2U Mathematics and Extension 1, indicating my academic aptitude
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
- Help them overcome confidence barriers and the misguided notion that intelligence is the only true metric for academic success
- developing a relationship with the student to engage them with the topic and hence maximise the content covered in a session
- help them develop a study system whereby they can achieve the highest academic improvement in the shortest time.
- ensure they regularly tackle their most difficult topics both with and without the tutor. This will reinforce their memory of the topic and force the student to actively recall their knowledge on a range of topic areas.
