What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy seeing students feel more confident in their studying and develop a genuine interest in their subjects. More so, I find satisfaction in passing on tips and tricks I have picked up over the years to help students achieve their best.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

As Math was one of my favourite subjects throughout schooling, I believe my love of the subject has helped me pick up techniques and skills that will help further a student's interest in the subject and in turn, motivate them to study it better.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

I believe an important role a tutor has is not only easing a student's fears about a subject (in particular Mathematics), but encouraging them when the student feels disheartened over task loads or low grades. I also believe tutors must help students develop healthy self-study habits that encourage them to try solving problems themselves before relying on their tutors. By actively teaching their students when correcting mistakes, tutors can help students identify any weak areas in their subjects and improve their overall studying.
