What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy being able to keep up with my own mathematics, but most importantly I love being able to help a child when they are struggling and have them finally understand the concept or formula they were struggling with.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My understanding of the concepts involved allows me to break down the problem into smaller pieces which are easier to understand and then allows me to walk them through each piece.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Constantly check on them and make sure they either understand or are having trouble. They must also ensure that the student doesn't think they will get in trouble or are stupid if they can't understand something. Maintaining a friendly and kind manner is essential to making the student feel safe and appreciated. Furthermore, all students need to be encouraged and complimented so that they remain confident even if they can't quite understand something.
