What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Despite having had little teaching experience in the past, I would enjoy working with children and teenagers to foster a caring and supportive culture that comforts and aid students in times of stress. I am also knowledgable about the subjects of English and the VCE system, having just completed VCE with high scores, and therefore would love to impart what I have learnt to school students of all ages.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe that as a tutor, I can provide students with extensive knowledge of the English and Legal subjects offered in schools and can ensure that they understand how they will be assessed and marked through the VCE/VCAA system. I also believe that my positive and encouraging attitude will allow students to feel comfortable and supported in my presence, as I would aim to reduce their experience of school-related stresses and anxiety. I am very passionate about humanities subjects and would love to share my enthusiasm with students so they are able to enjoy what they are learning.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe it is very important to be as transparent and honest with students as possible, providing them with constructive yet truthful and sincere feedback that will best allow them to grow and refine their work. I also think it is important to stay current in teaching an evolving curriculum and to provide information that aligns with the dynamic VCAA system. In addition to sharing knowledge and information, a tutor must also support students during times of stress, and ensure that they feel prepared and comfortable to complete the tasks at hand.
