What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
My favourite part about tutoring usually occurs after five or so sessions. It's at this point where students have started to retain some information and begin to really make some progress. This is usually noted by a shift in attitude. At this point the students are no longer coming to the sessions because their parents forced them to but rather because they are becoming confident in their own ability even if they don't realise themselves. It's that tipping point that I enjoy the most about tutoring.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe that my main strength lies in being able to explain a concept in simple and easy terms. I usually achieve this by breaking the question down into a group of easier questions. By this point the student can understand one of these easier questions and the concepts behind it. Then I begin to work to through the rest of the easier questions making sure the students know how each relates to the other. After they understand a few of these easier questions the others fall in place very quickly and the student can then tackle the question in it's entirety.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Teaching the students that they have the ability to achieve great grades on their own. Many of the problems that face the students is a lack of self belief. The concepts and questions can seem very daunting at times at it is very easy to get into the mindset that it is too difficult. As a tutor much of the success that the students achieve after a number of sessions comes from building up their own confidence. Then they can take that attitude onto other subjects and furthermore into the future.Tutoring students in 👦 👧
