What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy building relationships with the students and seeing their skills improve without them even realising it. Also, I think helping someone understand a challenging concept is really rewarding and feels personally fulfilling too.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I always have enjoyed learning new skills, and passing on my newfound way of tackling a problem with other people. I've had to teach myself many concepts in high school that have allowed me to see the curriculum from many perspectives in order to find a way that works for me, and develop insight into the foundational ideas with a nuanced outlook.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

An ability to understand the personal needs of the student in order to tailor the learning to their particular mind and way of thinking as opposed to getting stuck using one method of teaching only. Also, developing a trusting relationship between the student and tutor as it can feel disempowering when you cannot grasp a concept, and the ability to trust the person who is helping you is key.
