What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Through my tutoring roles, I have most enjoyed encouraging students and watching them become more passionate about the subjects that they are studying. In the past, I have seen students' interests in studying a particular subject grow when they have been able to see how the different concepts they are learning relate to each other, as well as how these concepts are relevant to them and can be applied to real world situations. Furthermore, I enjoy watching students' confidence improve when they are finally able to understand a difficult concept that they have been struggling with.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I received positive feedback from observations of my tutoring abilities at Spectrum Tuition for my enthusiasm when teaching a class which helped to motivate students in their learning. Through my past tutoring roles, I was also able to develop teaching strategies that cater for students with different learning needs, such as students who learn better visually rather than just through listening. A parent of one of my students commented that I was able to help him grow in his confidence for learning Maths through constant encouragement and the way that I was able to explain concepts clearly.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe tutors play a vital role in helping students develop confidence in their own learning abilities and the motivation to keep working hard through encouraging them and providing them with assistance on particular topics that they may be struggling with. Tutors can also provide students with study tips and skills that will help them to study smarter in the future. Furthermore, tutors are also important for challenging students to keep striving to improve or even go beyond the minimum learning requirements of a particular subject in order to reach their full learning potential.
