What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I believe tutoring is extremely rewarding. I enjoy building a long-term student-tutor bond which allows me to help them in a more targeted way. Tutoring allows me to continuously go through the course content myself and personally, I find tutoring quite a fun experience. I greatly enjoy the sense of fulfillment when my students become more confident with their studies and start seeing direct improvements with their knowledge. I am a people-person so communicating with many people from diverse backgrounds is definitely a plus!

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

I am a highly motivated, engaging, and dedicated student with strong communication and interpersonal skills. I am patient, an attribute developed through years of Taekwondo, and can provide teaching with discrete objectives. Academically, I believe I have the requirements to provide high quality teaching to my students. I am always willing to learn new things and am extremely flexible and adaptable, character traits I believe are important as a tutor. Additionally, I am amiable and humble in my teaching approach and have a good sense of humour!

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

I consider tutoring to be important in two ways: academics and self-growth. Being a tutor to me means bringing out the best in someone academically as well as providing them with the tools they need to become independent, life-long learners. I think a great tutor is someone who can help their student grow to love and appreciate the subject of interest and be more confident with their studies. I believe a tutor should act as a reliable and responsible support role, customizing teaching strategies to the student whilst delivering information with discrete objectives.
