What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The most enjoyable thing about tutoring is the environment it provides for learning and developing. I think tutoring is a great experience for myself as it allows me to develop independence and social skills whilst being able to help other people. It is also enjoyable meeting new students and seeing them grow as well as better themselves.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think I have a variety of strengths that are well suited to being a tutor and teaching students.
I am a very patient person and I think this will translate well into a tutoring job as this will allow me to teach children concepts while having fun. I am also a diligent person and will persevere with the students I am teaching. I also believe I am a highly adaptable person which applies well when teaching individuals as all students are unique and tutors must adapt to every case for the best learning experience. Finally, I think I have a positive energy and attitude.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe the most important aspects of being a tutor for a student is the support tutors can provide. Tutors must improve a students confidence academically by improving study skills, encourage understanding of content and focus on anything the student may be struggling with. Tutors should also assist students socially by developing strong personal connections and definitely provide support for the student if they feel as though they have gotten a bad grade or struggling through school life.
