What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I love being able to help others and witness tangible change in their confidence and abilities. Growing confidence in themselves is such an important aspect, as once they believe that they are able and good enough to write an essay or response, then the process becomes far more enjoyable and easy. This consequently leads to more time and effort spent on studying, as when you find something you enjoy, you inherently want to do it more, thus they will see improvements. I also love empowering others with the knowledge and skills I have acquired to make their high school life so much easier.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I am extremely passionate about education, and hence I could be their role model as someone who genuinely enjoys to study, by teaching myself to enjoy it, and thinking of the benefits, rather than seeing it as a burden. I also believe I could inspire them to see learning as empowering and a gift, again rather than a burden. I am friendly, kind, approachable and would always consider my student's self esteem, hence providing them with constructive criticism, rather than purely knocking their abilities. I am also extremely reliable and would be there for them if they needed any last minute help.
Most important things I can do for a student π
I consider the most important thing a tutor can do for their student's is inspire them. I want to enlighten them with my love for learning and organisation, inspiring them to do and be their best. I also would empower my student's to believe in themselves and gain confidence in their abilities, as I consider a high self esteem, when it comes to learning as imperative. I would also attempt to instil in them a sense of drive and motivation, exposing them to the benefits of learning.
