What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Personally, I most enjoy helping students grow and perform to the best of their ability. It is amazing to see somebody smile when they finally understand a concept and I would love to be the person to initiate that.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My highly developed communication skills: As a tutor, it is extremely important to be able to clearly communicate concepts to a student. My adaptability: I understand that each student I tutor will learn differently and will require individual approaches to concepts. I am able to adapt to the needs of each unique student. My organisation: I believe that it is important to structure tutoring sessions to obtain the most from a session My patience and compassion: I believe it is important to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students can comfortably learn and grow.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe one of the most important things a tutor can do include helping the student understand a topic as opposed to shortcuts and memorisation. This would increase their capabilities as they can apply their knowledge in new situations. Additionally, I believe it is extremely important to help the students believe in themselves and develop confidence. In new situations, students are greatly benefitted by having confidence in their own abilities. Furthermore, I believe it is important for tutors to provide targeted, individualised learning for the student which they do not receive at school.
