What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I've enjoyed the feeling of exploring something new in my own learning. One of my favourite parts about tutoring is to help students engage with that same feeling as well increasing their knowledge/skills.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I'm incredibly task-focused which allows me to keep students on track. I also believe that engaging with a student's curiosity and creativity is important for their learning and progression. My approach for tutoring is to allow student's to understand the theories and ideas behind methods and practices whatever discipline maybe. I also project a calm demeanour which allows the student to feel safe and supported enough to extend themselves in their learning.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe that a tutor plays an incredible different role to the classroom teacher. Being a role that has one-on-one interaction with a student, a tutor's most important thing is to focus their practice and method to the individual characteristics of the student. An example of this could be having activities with high intensity and movement for energetic students.
